If you haven’t heard, Peyton Manning is not likely to be in a Colts’ uniform next season. The Jets, 49ers, Dolphins, Cardinals, and Redskins are among the teams that have been said to be interested in Manning. But, there is one team that would be the perfect fit.
And that team is, the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals ended the 2011 season winning seven of their last nine games, proving they can win with a below average quarterback, in John Skelton. While in Indianapolis, for the Super Bowl, Peyton Manning and Larry Fitzgerald went out to dinner. Possibly discussing how they’re going to be the most lethal combination in the NFL for the next several years?
Manning will have everything he needs to succeed right away in Arizona, an all-pro receiver, command of the offense, a decent defense, a play maker on special teams and defense,warm weather, and not to mention, he would be playing the NFC West, where his biggest competition would be Alex Smith.
The Cardinals made a move this week that would indicate they are serious in bringing in Manning. And that move is, the hiring of Frank Reich. Reich is a former Colts’ assistant, and is the new receivers coach for the Cards.
If the Cardinals get Manning , they will most likely run away with the NFC West, and could possibly contend for a trip to the Super Bowl, and all signs point to Manning heading to Arizona. As a matter of fact, I guarantee Peyton Manning will be the Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback next season! You heard it here first!
